Coats collection campaign 2018

The number of homeless people and people living in poverty in and around Eindhoven is increasing. Life on the streets and with a limited social network is tough. That is why, from 8 to 24 October 2018, we worked together with companies to make Eindhoven winterproof by collecting coats. Give a coat and warm a heart. On 25 October the distribution took place and the coats were distributed among the participating foundations: Dress for Success, Salvation Army, Clothing Bank, Experience that Stands, NEOS and 't Hemeltje.Do you have a warm coat you no longer wear? From 8 to 24 October 2018, you could donate your warm coatto someone who needs it more than you do!
At Gemeente Eindhoven, on the Strip of High Tech Campus Eindhoven, Hockeyclub Oranje Rood, DAF, Eindhoven Airport, Lumens, NXP Semiconductors, Rabobank Eindhoven-Veldhoven and Van Lanschot Eindhoven you could hand in your pre-loved coat(s). More than 1,000 warm men's, women's and children's coats were collected, and another 1,000 items of clothing such as jeans, scarves and hats. Heartwarming. Parktheather Eindhoven also became a collection point and collected dozens more warm coats for the homeless in our city.
