Cabaret artist Karin Breurs conjured a smile on all faces
Introducing the social marketplace for foundations
July 11, Together for Eindhoven celebrated its fifth anniversary together with founders and partners from its network. We were guests at our partner Van der Valk Hotel Eindhoven. Around 30 foundations attended the workshop on the social marketplace and how to use it, prior to the meeting. Hans Brouwhuis, site manager at NXP explained how the marketplace will create even more social impact and NXP's role in the implementation process. Stichting Ik Wil then surprised all participants at the kick-off with a homemade song. For an hour, Karin Bruers conjured big smiles on all faces. She was hilarious and interacted with participants from the past five years: refugees, homeless people, corporate volunteers and social pioneers from community organizations.
