10 years Together for Eindhoven
On July 26, 2012, Esther Hofstede founded Samen voor Eindhoven. At the time, an attic room as a workplace/office in Woensel West. Today, 10 years later, we work from the office of partner NXP at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven. With 11 team members strong and Esther 'at the helm'. Naturally, we celebrate this anniversary together with our committed partners: many companies from Brainport Eindhoven and local non-profit organizations. On September 22, 2022 we celebrated. Full of meetings, connections and touching stories from corporate volunteers and non-profit organizations. We were guests in the glass greenhouse on the GGzE estate.
Sometimes encounters while volunteering are life-changing. Coming out of your bubble gives you different insights, connection and greater understanding of the social issue and target audience; such as people with money worries, newcomers, homeless people. But is this assumption correct? Is it? Because that is the reason Esther started Samen voor Eindhoven 10 years ago. Facilitated by consultants from Avance, in 2018 we drafted a Theory of Change (ToC) together with all branches of the national foundation 'Samen voor Betrokken Ondernemen'. With the aim of gaining more insight into our added value and a measurement recommendation. What did Samen voor Eindhoven mean for and in the region over the past decade?
