Twelfth edition Corporate Social Responsibility 040 dinner connects businesses and civil society organizations, this time around the theme of Vitality.

On Monday evening, November 6, 2017, the 12th edition of the Social Enterprise 040 dinner took place. The compliment of the evening went to the Idea Brewery that will develop games in cooperation with Vitalis, Severinus, GGzE and DELA for their clients and employees.
MO040 dinner
During the dinner, the business community and the social field seek new collaborations (matches) based on concrete questions. The theme this time was Vitality. As usual, participants at the dinner share their experience, knowledge and network with each other, with closed exchanges.
The MO040 dinner is an initiative of the Municipality of Eindhoven, DLL and NXP in cooperation with Samen voor Eindhoven. The Eindhoven networking event took place this time in the restaurant of the SX building at Strijp-S, an appropriate and inspiring place for the theme of this twelfth edition: Vitality. Over 40 vital matches were made during the 12th dinner.
New collaborations
Once again unexpected collaborations arose at the dinner, matches between companies that otherwise would never have met. As during all previous editions, the compliment of the evening was awarded for the best match. In addition, this time two special compliments were awarded.
Give a coat and warm a heart
A special compliment "The Compliment for the City" was awarded this evening for the Winter Coats action set up by the Eindhoven business community in cooperation with Samen voor Eindhoven. In recent weeks, coats and other warm garments were collected at various locations in the city for Dress for Success, 't Hemeltje, Ervaring die Staat, the Clothing Bank and the Salvation Army. They are making sure people who need it most are warm this winter. The city's compliment, along with the last coats collected at the dinner, was presented by Michel Oude Wansink of Eurest and received by Alinda Scheepers of Ervaring die Staat on behalf of the cooperating/receiving parties.
A farewell compliment for Staf Depla, ambassador of the first hour
A second special compliment was presented to Staf Depla, alderman in Eindhoven and co-founder of the MO040 dinner. After this twelfth dinner, he is handing over the baton. Alderman Staf Depla has decided not to return as alderman after the municipal elections in March next year. On behalf of the other initiators NXP and DLL he received from Hans Brouwhuis and Carlo van Kemenade the more than deserved compliment and two old stadium seats from the PSV stadium as thanks for his great involvement and enthusiasm in the past 6 years.
