Corona: Ask for help
It is heart-warming to see how many people offer their help through all kinds of channels to mean something to others. Every day Samen voor Eindhoven connects companies with the social organisations and charities that dedicate themselves to people who need them. At the moment, this is no longer done in the way we are used to. Especially now that so many vulnerable people are in need of it. Fortunately, there are other (virtual) ways to do something for others.
Many workers are now at home because of the corona measures and want to do something for vulnerable people in our Brainport region. We would like to help these people with tips for coronaproof voluntary work. Do you have ideas for your social organisation? Let us know what support/needs your organisation and people have. We put the requests of civil society organisations on our volunteer calendar and bring together the supply and demand of volunteers.
For example, ensuring that the homeless in Eindhoven receive a meal and a shower package, sending a vlog, a card (or a child's drawing) to the elderly, or doing translation work. In doing so, we obviously follow the RIVM guidelines.
